I stayed at this lovely hostel for 10 days to do Spanish lessons. The room was spacious and the staff, especially David and Pepe, were extremely helpful. The colonial courtyard spaces were beautiful and the in-house Spanish school was a great opportunity to improve my language skills. The location was convenient and the breakfast was good. a great experience.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The room at Colors House was cozy and comfortable, with a seating area that made me feel right at home. I loved the little patio, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The shared bathroom facilities were clean and convenient.
Personally, I would have preferred a room with a private bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

Had a blast at the lively restaurant with delicious local dishes. The 24-hour front desk was at my service, like my personal concierge. Even got to shake my hips at salsa lessons. Loved the coffee bar and the communal facilities. Free WiFi was a lifesaver!
Nothing like a microwave in a common area to make me feel pampered.

Delicious local food at the restaurant, but don't expect me to go salsa dancing after eating! The 24-hour front desk was helpful, especially since I needed a concierge to schedule my movie night. Oh, and I finally learned to make coffee at the Coffee Bar!
The communal facilities were great, except for the microwave and refrigerator in the common area - not exactly a five-star dining experience.

I absolutely loved the charming decor and cozy ambiance of the hotel. The colorful walls and beautiful artwork created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere. The general areas were always clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The well-lit hallways and easy-to-navigate layout made it convenient for me to move around without any difficulty.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation experience for senior people is a dedicated staff member who can cater specifically to our needs. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, having someone who understands the unique requirements of seniors would make the stay even more enjoyable.

The location was perfect for our romantic escape. We were able to explore the city easily and visit nearby attractions without any trouble. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and even helped us plan a special outing. the cozy and comfortable room made our stay even more enjoyable.
The shared bathroom was a bit cramped and not as clean as we would have liked. It would have been great if there was more privacy and space for changing.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel in Sucre! the Spanish lessons with Rolando were fantastic, and the double room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. the hostel had a chilled-out atmosphere and the breakfast was really good. the staff, especially Pepe the owner, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. Sucre itself is a great city to visit and we could have easily stayed here for weeks.
Felt right at home, no complaints at all.

The location of the hotel was great, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing good travel tips and advice. The common space was nice and had a cool atmosphere, especially in the evenings when it turned into a bar.
The music in the bar could get quite loud in the evenings, which was a bit bothersome when trying to sleep. the bed was uncomfortable and the hot water was only lukewarm.
